"We Serve"  The Manistee Area About Our Club Est. 1957

Manistee Lions were chartered in 1957, with a membership of 25, our membership has grown to 36 Service mind men and women from around the community.  Members consist of men and women of various ages and come from different walks of life, gathering together to to serve the community in way that will will enhance the growth of all.  Are you interested in helping with in the community?  We await you contact and look forward to welcoming you into the fold, because with new members comes new ideas.    The Manistee Lions gather together on the second and forth Tuesday of month, April thru November at the Lions Den 1037 Preuss Rd  in Manistee, MI.  Our Christmas party is held in December.  January, February and March we get together the second Tuesday of  month at a members home.  Our meetings begin at 7:00 pm and usually last 1 1/2 hours.  We have a meal prepared by Lion members, a business meeting, and occasionally a program.  on our special nights spouses and guests are invited. Therefore, it is not uncommon to see some of these people helping at our various functions.  Always Remember as Lions to hold stead fast our motto: "WE SERVE!" All funds raised by Manistee Lions support International, State and Community services.
